I am originally from Birmingham, AL. After graduating high school and a short stint at Troy State University, I graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham with a degree in Communications and Public Relations.  My first big girl job out of college was with The Salvation Army in Birmingham. This was the beginning of a career in the nonprofit world that led to jobs in Public Relations, community outreach, development, and event planning for several nonprofit organizations.

In 1999 I  met a handsome young DJ in a karaoke bar. We were married a year later and moved to Houston to follow his career in radio. During our 12 years in Texas, we bought a house in the suburbs and had 3 babies. When I wasn’t juggling three toddlers, I spent my days working for The Salvation Army in downtown Houston at a homeless shelter and rehabilitation center for men called Harbor Light. I worked to bring awareness to the homelessness and addiction problems in the city and to raise funds for programs to combat these issues. After several years with the Salvation Army, I went to work for LifeGift, the designated OPO (Organ Procurement Organization) for most of Texas. LifeGift manages the organ donor list for the area and coordinates organ and tissue donations for those waiting for life-saving transplants. I worked as an advocate for organ and tissue donation to encourage people to register as donors. I did many speaking engagements, planned fundraising events and managed a volunteer program over 300 organ/tissue donor recipients and donor families.

In 2012 I hung up my “real” job to spend some time with my kids.  I served as PTO President at my children’s school and spearheaded several fundraising events in our community for families in need.  It was during this time that Jeromy also began his stint in the nonprofit world by creating Extra Life, a fundraising program that has raised over 70 million dollars for sick and injured kids at Children’s Hospitals around the U.S. and Canada.

A few years later I decided to create my own business around my love of design and organization.  In 2013 I launched “Lesley Nicole Organizing,” and quickly became busy working with clients to declutter, organize and decorate their home and office spaces. I absolutely adore coming into a space and redesigning it to best fit the needs of a client. With my new career as an organization guru and Jeromy’s new career with CMN, we found ourselves both working out of our home. We realized that we were in a position to live anywhere we would like! That led us to one of the most beautiful places I know of….Wears Valley, TN!

While visiting family in East, TN over Thanksgiving in 2014, we started talking about moving to the area. We visited a log cabin that was currently for sale and decided to just go for it! On our drive back to Texas the next day, we called our Houston Realtor and  told him to put our primary home and rental home on the market, because we were moving to Tennessee. Subsequently we put in an offer on the cabin we had looked at.  Our offer was accepted, both of our Houston homes went immediately under contract, and we found ourselves living on top of a mountain in Wears Valley 3 months later!

After getting settled in our new home, I decided to pursue a career in real estate.  I got my license in March of  2015. I love, love, love being a real estate agent!  It is a very hard and very rewarding career. I am very proud that I have been able to work to become one of the top producing agents in my area.  I am a multi-million dollar producer who prides herself on over-serving each and every client. I am able to use my eye for design to perfectly stage my listings to get my sellers the best price for their property!  And I am able to use my experience and knowledge of the area and the local real estate market to match buyers with their perfect property.

Jeromy and I live in Wears Valley with our 3 children, Jack, Max and Stella. Our family also includes Pawl, Gus and Ryder the dogs; Iris the cat; Houston and Star the horses; Lilo the gecko; and Sven the dwarf hamster.
